Written in 1903, this is the 7th in a series of adventures of three brothers. Just like Gilligan's Island, the boys set out for a few hour pleasure cruise and end up stranded on a South Pacific atoll. The crazy plot devices that got them there are matched with the hilarious inaccuracies such as a South Pacific island having gorillas, panthers, and monkeys. The antagonists are criminals, and while they make threats of rape, murder is never on the table. Having the boys' girlfriends present makes the story different than many of the previous Rover Boys tales. If you don't take the book at all seriously, you can have fun reading this, just as you would watching Gilligan.Product details

Great, clean literature for children. So much better and more educational than anything that the authors are producing today.
