The book was thoroughly absorbing. Even though it is anachronistic, I couldn't put it down. It deals with values and ethics in a changing world, through characters flawed and compellingly human. Beautiful.
Interesting story line, how the lives of a town revolve around the cathedral in its midst. Classic literature, not hard to read.
